Salmon Lemon and Dill can be enjoyed in several ways, depending on personal preferences and dietary choices. Here are some popular ways to savor and enhance the flavors of this classic dish:

  1. Serve as a Main Course: The most common way to enjoy this dish is as a main course. Plate the cooked salmon fillets and garnish them with additional fresh dill and lemon slices for presentation. Pair the salmon with a side of steamed vegetables, such as asparagus or green beans, and a starch like roasted potatoes or quinoa. The combination of the citrusy lemon, herbaceous dill, and buttery salmon creates a delightful and balanced meal.
  2. Make a Salmon Salad: Flake the cooked salmon fillets into bite-sized pieces and use them as a topping for a fresh and flavorful salad. Combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, and a light lemon-dill vinaigrette. Arrange the flaked salmon on top and garnish with fresh dill. The combination of the tender salmon and the crisp salad creates a satisfying and nutritious dish.
  3. Create a Creamy Pasta: Incorporate into a creamy pasta dish. Flake the cooked salmon into bite-sized pieces and add it to a cooked pasta of your choice, such as linguine or fettuccine. Prepare a creamy lemon-dill sauce by combining heavy cream, lemon zest, chopped dill, garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese in a saucepan. Toss the cooked pasta and salmon in the sauce, and garnish with additional dill. This creates a rich and flavorful pasta dish with a tangy twist.
  4. Build a Flavorful Sandwich: Use the cooked salmon to create a delicious and nutritious sandwich. Toast your favorite bread or use a soft roll as the base. Spread some lemon-dill mayo or creamy herb sauce on the bread, then layer it with lettuce, sliced tomatoes, red onions, and the flaked salmon. This option is perfect for a quick and satisfying lunch.
  5. Make Salmon Cakes: Transform Salmon Lemon and Dill into flavorful salmon cakes. Mix the flaked cooked salmon with breadcrumbs, chopped dill, lemon zest, minced garlic, egg, and a little mayonnaise. Shape the mixture into patties and pan-fry them until golden brown and crispy. Serve the salmon cakes with a side of lemon-dill aioli or tartar sauce.

Remember to adjust the seasoning and garnishes according to your taste preferences. You can also experiment with different sides or accompaniments to make the dish your own.
